About the Event
We tend to think of karma (literally: “action”) in simplistic terms: “As you sow, so shall you reap.” The basic idea is that our actions create vibrations in the universe. Life-supporting actions bring good fortune while actions that hurt oneself or others bring unhappy consequences. But there is much more to karma than merely receiving back the consequences of our “good” and “bad” acts. Understanding karma can be hugely beneficial in helping us navigate life’s challenges without worry and suffering.
In our webinar, we’ll examine four types of karma. From the Biblical Book of Job, we’ll find lessons on harmful and life-supporting karma. We will look to the Bhagavad-Gita for lessons on dharma. We’ll return to the story of Job for its description of the ultimate test of faith. Finally, we’ll explore the karma of free will for the influences of passion (attachment) and Divine guidance in our life.
