Our webinar this month is based on the movie "Inside Out” and its sequel “Inside Out 2.” These movies focus primarily on how our emotions compete to control our lives. They are funny, entertaining and insightful. Though they don’t discuss the energy that gets bound up in our emotions, they do an excellent job of showing that energy. They also show how longstanding, high-energy emotions conflict with one another, creating confusion, limiting decision-making and blocking creativity.

In our webinar, we will review some of the ideas about emotions creatively illustrated in these popular movies. We'll see how our emotions work within our minds, especially how they are often in conflict with one another, and thus cause us misery, or get hugely exaggerated (panic, rage, melancholy, exuberance) or suppressed (feeling nothing, empty, flat).
